Your participation will greatly assist my research, which is part of a Doctorate of Management Dissertation. The purpose of the study is to explore how inmate subcultures influence correctional officers within State Correctional Departments. Efforts on the part of advocates and the criminal justice system to reduce the flow of those on parole and probation to prison or jail are working. The justice system has been criticized by many organizations in the past as to being heavy handed in it’s revocation policies, and that parole and probation agencies should do more to stabilize and keep offenders in the community, even after multiple violations... full story
