I am convinced that, without effective pre-release planning, including the development of a survival skills re-entry plan that addresses employment barriers, most offenders, juvenile and adult, will continue to fail at an alarming rate.

You are at least currently right. Re entry presently is a joke as indicated by the costs with and high rates of recidivism.
Re entry if supported, funded and prudently implemented could be just the answer to excessive costs associated with high recidivism.

I’m a Corrections Counselor at a local detention center.
Has anyone used (or heard of) Pam Hogan’s “Reentry Program” materials? Especially, the (4) four DVD set titled “SUCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT and LAWFUL LIVING through CONFLICT MANAGEMENT.” We would like some reviews before purchasing. Thanks.
