You should increase your physical fitness standards! For curriculum I would have training with hostage negotiation, barracaded subject, rapelling, riot control, sniper/oberserver teams, chemical agents, less than lethal munitions training,ie stun grenades, flash bangs, bean bag rounds, etc. Use of flares, smoke for tactical advantage. Insertions by helocopter, armored personnel carrier. If you need additonal please don't hesitate to e-mail. Good luck!

basic reading self awareness

Physical strength and stamina building are a must. Ability to get a team of many to work as one, in unison and know what to do at what time.

While physical fitness is one of the top considerations, tactics and team cohesion are the tops in my book. Your tactics need to be modern, and you policies need to be updated regularly to accomadate the changes in technology. And most of all your teams should be established at each facility. This may sound expensive, but it’s really not with the amount of grants out there. Each facilites team trains independently, but training and tactics are stacnderized throughout the state so that one team can supplement another.
