I work in corrections in Texas and would can provide information. I realize this post is a bit old and may be out of date but let me know if you would like information.

I am also looking for any advise..insight…my hubby is in private corrections and wants out…we have been researching texas for a while and have applications in all over the state. Benefits seem good…some areas offer housing for officers, some do not…I would like to hear from any current TDCJ employees…
