|Court news: Jail inmate accused of felony stalking with phone call, letters|
Charles Henry Olson, 38, of Luverne, was charged in Becker County District Court with felony stalking and three felony counts of violating a no-contact order.
According to court records, on Dec. 5, a protected woman received a letter from Olson from the Becker County Jail, where he was being held on another felony stalking case involving the same woman. The letter was sent to a fictitious name at the woman’s address. She believes it was a made-up name and was very upset that he was harassing her from jail, according to the criminal complaint.
The woman said Olson also called her Nov. 22 from jail under another inmate’s name, according to court records. In the call he mentioned writing her, asked her to write back, and said he would find her when he gets out.
